All of the photos are adorable! For Christmas a couple of years ago, my mother had a baby picture of myself and my husband framed. Cheers, Mich

That's darling, Mich! Little Miss Bright-Eyes with golden curls -- you must have been picked up & cuddled continuously by mommy, daddy, aunts, uncles, etc.

There are no baby pictures of me in existence. As a child this really really bothered me and gave me even more evidence that I was adopted which I am not. This is one of the earliest photos of me that I could find. (I think that being the youngest of 4 children my parents had long abandoned the camera. There are a gazillion pictures of my oldest brother, the first born.) Perhaps this could go in the Port and Starboard, Religious Perspectives thread? First Holy Communion circa 1962

Very sweet you look too Casimira dear ;D That photo of me (post #1) is the ONLY pic I have of me as a child until I'm 11 years old...I'm 5th of 6 children and, like you Casimira, there are many, many photographs of my two eldest sisters....fractionally less of the next two...then barely any of me... Mark...you were a spectacularly sweet baby. aw.

Thanks guys. I found that dress carefully wrapped in tissue paper in a box in one of my mother's closets....The veil was missing.

I was going through some of the pics on my computer & found this jewel. I'm thinking it could add a new dimension to this thread -- kiddy pics of us along with kiddy pics of our kids.

Just so long as your furry baby did not bite and scratch its way out.

Actually my fur babies (twins) were delivered at 5 1/2 months of age, in a cardboard carrier.

Amboseli, that teensy picture of you as a teensy little thing is adorable!
Kimby, imgshack is acting up, so all I'm getting is caught in that cat's headlights.

Poor Kimby! Image Shack is evil. Look what I just found online -- my little brother posted it on his facebook page. Actually, my mother gave me this photo, which was on a living room table in my grandparents' house. Somehow it wound up with the brother who wasn't even born when it was taken. Oh well. I'm 4 1/2 here, maybe ~~

Love all the adorable pictures, everyone! Bixa, you do look like little Darla. I had very little hair until, like, age 5. And my mom said I didn't like the camera and they could never get me to smile until they put it down.

I love the pink ruffle! I just love how when a baby looks relaxed that their mouths fall into that lovely "0" moment. Cheers! Mich

Thanks, ladies! You were a little snuggle-buggle, NYCGirl -- pretty, too! Mich, that's a wonderful description of the sweetness of baby innocence. Side note: I looked up Darla as I didn't really have a firm picture of her in my mind. What cracked me up is that her real-life name is Darla Jean Hood. I named my doggy Darla, then with no forethought, started occasionally calling her Darla Jean.
