This is a happy little opposite to the Pet Peeve Game. It'll be a nice list of the commonplace nice things that make us feel, well, nice. :D

I get to go first on account of no other person having seen this thread yet. :D

1. Getting my watch battery fixed cheaply & quickly at the market today.

Seeing my wonderful extended family this past weekend, even tho it was sad that my aunt passed, has left me with a glow that I will keep for a long time. I have finally come to realize that funerals are for the living to see each other again, and I, therefore am planning a happy celebration of my life when it's my time to go.

Hey!!! This happened to me on Monday and I was also mightily chuffed, it made me smile all day!!

I am a bit worried that there are some mind readers on APIAS as I was also thinking about crazy voices in my head on the tube when K posted about that. Hmmmmmmmmm.

Also:

7. because of tube shutdowns having to get a bus that takes 90 minutes and goes past The Tower of London, St Paul’s Cathedral and The Royal Court of justice, getting to see some of London’s most beautiful scenes with the first bright blue sky of the year when I should have been sitting at my desk.

AND (Greedy)

8. Travelling to work in daylight rather than darkness. At last.

maybe not such a little thing.... I found in a shopping bag of my 17 yr old son yesterday -- a dvd, candy wrappers (aww... he's still a kid...) and a pregnancy test (! OK! not such a kid!!)... I asked him about it today -- his gf took the test and it was not positive!! so...

29. negative pregnancy test taken by my son's 14 year old girlfriend

(yes! 14! I am not in favor of his having a girlfriend so much younger, but really what can one do? I don't know. I have a lot on my mind right now, but I am soooooo relieved about this test!!)

Gad, Livaco ~~ where are the parents of this girl? Three years is a way too much of an age gap when they're that young. It's not right that you have to be the only parent concerned about the implications.

Yes, I'm sure some of the posters here with 14-year-olds might be more than a little alarmed. Indeed that is a BIG relief.

In modern industrialised societies, 14 is far too young to be a parent. Nowadays just about any job requires a secondary school diploma at the very least.

bixa, I was thinking of that in terms of "percentage of lifespan". Erstwhile sweetie and I have a slightly larger age gap, but so much smaller in terms of the above.

Getting back to pleasures, a warmish sunny early-March day. Not very common here. Out on bicycle, and far from alone.
