Surrealist artist and novelist,Leonora Carrington, died May26th at age 94. British born,Lancashire, she resided most of her life in Mexico. A most fascinating woman whose life resembled her work in many ways. She eloped with the artist Max Ernst at age 19 and ran off to Paris with him, She then traveled all over the world before taking up residency in Mexico and was a contemporary of artist Freida Kahlo.
