Christopher Hitchens,one of the great minds of our time died this morning from complications due to cancer.
A "ferocious intellect".

I thought of posting that too. I just re-watched the interview he did with Jeremy Paxman in Nov 2010 on the BBC. A loss of a brilliant man.

I went to dinner with a group of friends last night. We talked about Mr. Hitchens. It was lovely because although not everyone there agreed with the man,and I did not always either,there was an overall mutual respect and open mindedness,consensus,that our generation did indeed lose one of it's great thinkers and writers.
