Do it tomorrow! How are the wedding plans coming along? Gringa, has your ex finally left you alone, or is he still bothering you?

Rignt now I am looking at the options my friend's brother the chef sent over for reception food so I can have him quote a price.
He did bug the friend he was harrasing a while ago again. I thought she had blocked him on messenger, but I guess not. She lied and said we had kind of fallen out of touch and didn't tell him she knew I was getting married. Probably the wisest thing to do. He also was bugging my neighbor because he needed some notebook he accidentally left here when he moved out. I found it, maybe I'll be nice and stick it in the mail.

Probably not a bad idea on her part, it must have been difficult for her. Your ex works with her husband, doesn't he.
In Afrikaans we have a saying "min dae" meaning few days! Min dae!!

The ex used to work with the husband of the neighbor couple but was laid off a few months ago.

I am thinking a platter with about 50 pieces of sushi plus some potstickers, maybe 25. About 15 people will be coming by, but I know that 2 do not like sushi so we will be providing the other stuff we discussed earlier like empanadas, cheese & crackers, tortilla chips with guacamole and chicken wings. He has some other tasty sounding stuff, mainly Peruvian food and some Peruvian/Japanese fusion items but they are more sit-down entree dishes.

Some people will just head for the chips and olives. Watch out for them.

Some people will just head for the chips and olives. Watch out for them. Why? Are they shifty, untrustworthy types?

Hey, you're the one who made the mistake of inviting them! Take notes.

how random may the chatter be? As random as "I am bored" to "what is the weather like" to "I just broke my bf's heart", in fact there are no rules!

Morning my dear ! I am feeling good today, after all it's friday ! My knee is a little sore again as I had to run up to the 4th floor and back yesterday after we've had a fire alarm (posted about at TTR) but that was to be expected. But hey, at least we had some excitement at work yesterday ! How are you ?

Oh dear. Please look after your knee!
I am delighted it is Friday.
I am waiting for a few results from the doc, but it seems that in the next few weeks I will be having minor surgery, not looking forward to that. But otherwise all is good.

Hmmm... not nice. I had minor girl stuff surgery a few years ago. I was absolutely horrified becasue I had never had surgery before but it wasn't bad at all. Look at the positive side: You might get a few days off afterwards

Just to say I can't be on-line much this weekend because I have a Buddhist nun staying with me...so I must be off and get back on duty instead of lingering on here.....
