Talking about "taking it to the streets"! What a perfect venue -- and a more kind and direct way to offer help, rather than holding a concert for profit, passing on the proceeds to various agencies, etc.

Rebirth is and has been for years the Tuesday night house band at the Maple Leaf Club,a neighborhood joint a couple blocks from us. Of course ,the members are always changing because they go off to college or start solo careers etc. But,they always draw a crowd and the Leaf has been very good to them and vice versa.
Here they are at the Maple Leaf.

Well,the boys "done good". The aforementioned Rebirth Brass Band won a Grammy this past Sunday night for Best Regional Roots Band.
There will be a block party tonight over on Oak Street where they perform every Tuesday at the Maple Leaf Club.
