Spaghetti Bolognese = Spaghetti with Meat Sauce Thanks imec. So bolognese means meat sauce then.

DS:
It is really simple to make. Here is my recipe for Bolognese Sauce:
1/2lb lean ground beef 1/2 lb ground pork 1/4 lb ground sausage one onion, stalk of celery, diced 2 cloves garlic minced Diced or crushed Sweet Italian tomatoes canned 1 large can 1/2 cup tomato sauce and 1/2 cup tomato paste olive oil to saute the veggies 1 cup red Italian Wine Chicken Stock Used to thin if too thick Salt and Pepper Saute the veggies and garlic , saute the beef, pork and sausage add all the other ingredients and 1/4 of the chicken stock and simmer for 2-4 hours. Use the stock if the sauce becomes to thin, but you do want it fairly thick.
Some people don't add sausage, they use veal, its pretty much personal preference. This is my version, there are many others. I usually use thin spaghetti, but any pasta will work.

I will too. Have been wondering how to get Bolognese sauce without using those instant maggi sachets.

You Are Fettuccine Alfredo Compared to most people, you have rich and decadent tastes. If you can afford something, you'll go ahead and indulge yourself. You are a true foodie. No food is off the table for you. You're the type most likely to appreciate every aspect of a five star meal.
YEAH ! I love creamy sauce !!

my version of bolonaise sauce is made like this:
Heat the oil in a large deep frying pan. (for a small portion. Use a wide heavy-based pan for bigger portions). soften a finely chopped onion for a few minutes, add some finely chopped garlic, and a few seconds later add ground beef stir for a few minutes until the meat is well browned. Pour a basic tomato (pasta) sauce you have prepared in advance on the meat, mix well and leave to simmer for approximately 20-30 minutes minimum. (just a note: this is the kind of sauce that gets better the longer you cook it)

My Bolonaise sauce is like Annie's. I only use ground beef.

Me, too, but I don't feel like lasagna, I feel like Linguine all vongole bianco, or more likely, Penne l'arrabiata, ofr Spaghetti all Puttnesca. Or just spag with butter, olive oil and maybe garlic; freshly ground black pepper, and grated Parm.

Compared to most people, you have a sexy and wild personality. So it fits that you're like a pasta popularized by street walkers! You like food with interesting, contrasting, and spicy flavors. You live an exciting life - and you wouldn't ever go for anything bland.

I have a bolonaise variation short cut -- I cook some ground beef with onions and spices and then I add a can of ratatouille and a can of tomato sauce. Voilà. This had the added attraction of getting chunks of courgette and aubergine into the sauce.

LOL. I don't think I'm sexy or wild. I do love a good puttanesca sauce, though, so there you go.

Today we were Spaghetti al Olio e Agl, plus a little chile guajillo. Parm type cheese grated over. That's really what we had for lunch; plus some plain boiled alubias, green chard and cheap but tasty red Argentine wine.
Dessert: gummi worms and fruit gumdrops.

The years go by and I seem to have become spaghetti with meatballs, something which I absolutely never eat (meatballs).

What the hell? Spaghetti with meatballs, which no self-respecting Italian would never, ever serve. And I checked vegetables as my favourite food?
Compared to most people, you are very family focused. Well, no, I rarely see my "family" (father and brother) You are social, but you tend to mostly socialize with those you are already close to. Nope, I'm a hermit. You love to bond with your friends. Sharing time together is very important to you. See above. You are trustworthy and responsible. You like your friends knowing that they can count on you. OK, this is true. I was once voted the person you'd most want to have you help carry a dead body off stage (Shakespeare festival)

I'm also the puttanesca. Which is fine; I love that Neapolitan dish. But the blurb is absurd:
Compared to most people, you have a sexy and wild personality. So it fits that you're like a pasta popularized by street walkers! You like food with interesting, contrasting, and spicy flavors. You live an exciting life - and you wouldn't ever go for anything bland.
I'm a bit wild, but was never really the sexpot even as a young chick - but I'm a boomer, far over the "hot" age group. And shouldn't that be "streetwalkers" in one word? Most of the streetwalkers I see look horribly sad, ill and forlorn. The ladies, and gentlemen, of the evening in decent shape aren't streetwalkers.
The problem with this silly quiz is that there aren't enough questions, or enough options. And I think they know very little about pasta, Italian or otherwise.
