Inspired by this thread I am giving out guests fish pie tonight. It won't be with the smoked fish Gyro suggests (and my son-in-law makes an excellent fish pie using smoked haddock). It will have hoki, mussels, prawns and mushrooms. I'll use the mussel liquor for the sauce with some cream. There'll be sliced boiled potatoes on top with gruyere sprinkled over. Browned in the oven.
What veg do you serve with it? I'll do courgette baked with tomato and a little parmecan.
Asparagus to start with; strawberries to finish with.

Based on the portions I normally deliver, at best I put a few green veg on the plate. Either peas or green beans, but not much.
