In the park where I walk the dog are large bushes/trees of laurel, hawthorn etc but tucked in the middle of them is this lovely little rose -

Oh, the darling! That is my favorite kind of rose, with its generous blooms and gracefully leafy habit putting the overly popular hybrid teas to shame.

I love dandelion clocks...their sweet little yellow flowers. Unfortunately they are pretty rampant and invade my little flower beds competing with my blooms. In the wild they're lovely...

@ patricklondonSame here in my neighboorhood for the cultivars, but the 'wild' rhodo's (Rhodo Ponticum) are far behind. Normally, this time of the year, the avenues are lined with purple flowers. This is the only blooming bush I saw during my bikeride this morning.

The wild cherry trees in our yard are in glorious full bloom. Unfortunately, a freak snowfall has broken most of them off and they are lying down. Still abuzz with bees, but now being chomped on by deer, too.

Yes, very! Besides the positive side effect of producing food, the nightshade family is quite pretty and interesting.
