How good are you at accepting free offers (gifts)?
I have discovered that I am not very good!
Our corporate travel agent has given me a free flight, I decided to call her today to discuss the details and found that I found it very uncomfortable to discuss when, where etc. I eventually sent an e-mail.
I was also offered a free weeked at a lodge that we use a lot for my team that is travelling, I now would like to take her up on the offer, but am feeling uncomfortable. So much so, that I am considering booking accommodation elsewhere. This would include the 2 or 3 nights before that would be paid by my company.
Am I alone, are you able to accept gifts like these easily?

I am happy to accept free things as long as there are no strings attached.

I happily accept what's offered freely and in a generous spirit. I avoid offers that have a certain 'stickyness' to them.
I love presents, big or small.

I suddenly realised that I should clear this with our corporate office in Washington ........ although these are truly above board, but I should clear it with them.

I sorted through my linen cupboard last week. I have very nice but unmatched pillowcases and duvet covers to give away. Already I've given away an IKEA impulse-buy...matching duvet cover & pillows in a striking yellow and white stripe. These had to go.

Freecycle is good for free stuff, I have had stuff off there and given lots away too. It felt great to give baby stuff away to someone who really was in desperate need. People will have anything, I had a broken camera and someone picked it up for parts. Someone collected boxes and boxes of tena lady we found when clearing out my great aunt's house! Someone gave me a load of babyproofing stuff and a sling which I put back on there after it was finished with. www.freecycle.org/My favorite free thing is food, I never say no to free food.

*sob* I would have pounced on Spindrift's bedding set! My bed, sort of a sleigh type, is a deep blue color & I've been looking for something with lots of yellow in it to really set it off.

Here it is one of the options for people when they don't want to or can't spend a lot on fixing their teeth. They go to the uni and get it done from students. It takes some patience as they might take a lot longer for the treatment but it costs a lot less. And it would be high quality, as their profs would always check after them.
