Here is Ginger curled up in one of his dirt wallows -- he has three. You can see stuff that he keeps carefully stuck to his coat until he accumulates enough to deposit it in the house.

I'm pleased with my geraniums! Bixa - the little blue flowers are lobelia. Every year I plant a mixture of white and blue trailing lobelia. I wonder if you can grow it in Mexico?
Deyana - Dash is a very calm cat. The calmest. He wasn't always so......I've inherited Dash from an ex who had such a heavy foot-tread that he frightened the cats and they ran away - hence the name Dash. It took Dash very little time to calm down once he came to live with me. I'm the quietest person possible.

Finally! I managed to snap this before the coy canine averted his face again. You still can't really see the beautiful leonine gold color of his eyes, but you can see how he is the best, most beautiful, most lovable dog in the world. He's in his wallow under the guava tree.

Here's my girl, Aja on a walk I took a couple of days ago alongside a glacial lake very near my house.

Does she enjoy going in the water or just looking at it?

A little while later on the same walk, She loves to swim although she seems to need the inducement of a stick to fetch to motivate her.

Ginger made me print out the first picture of Aja and he's taped it above his bed. She's very beautiful!

Thank you She's a purebred GSD but from Dutch lines so she looks a little different as they have a different breed standard. Another photo from the same walk:

I totally missed this thread! So many wonderful photos. I am really missing my two little buddies. Since I have moved, they couldn't come with me. But my son has one of the boys (a charming mutt), and a friend has the other ( Golden Retriever). Thankfully, I have visitation rights. I will try to find some photos of my guys to post. In the meantime, college girl has acquired a kitten. I think that makes me a grandma. I fuss over her too.

I'm sorry to hear that, casimira. It's hard when you have to let them go. My neighbor has a 17 year old cat, and she worries about it constantly.
That pic. was taken earlier this summer, she's just about fully grown now.

Or maybe it's the best time to try and find their dens? Wouldn't want to disturb them. Even I'm not that reckless!
