Maybe keep the present rules, but each food named has to be one that would logically appear at the same meal as the one before it? It's simply too easy right now -- there is no thrill to answering.

It has become pretty lame. How about an "Eight Food Game"? Pick an ingredient, name eight dishes prominently featuring that ingredient and then pick a new theme. e.g. Pasta - 1. Lasagna, 2. Spaghetti Bolognese, 3. Linguini with Clams... Ground Meat 1. Shepherds Pie, 2. Burger and so on. No off the wall answers unless you can provide a link to a recipe. Anyone interested? Start a new thread or continue here?
