The lobby of the Parker Meridien New York, NY - pretty fancy digs, just off Central Park. What are they lining up for? Hmmmmmm.... WTF??? No it's not just a burger joint it's "Burger Joint"! One of my kids' favorite memories of NYC.

Is that sign about how to get it right written on a used piece of cardboard?!
*snork* Looks like a real burger joint except for the no smoking sign and it needs those little mini jukebox things on the tables.
Not to be too crass, but one assumes these were not old fashioned burger joint prices, eh?

On a business trip, I stayed there, maybe 4 or 5 years ago. I don't think they had the curtain (to the burger place) then. What I do remember is that the hotel bar wouldn't let me take a glass of wine to my room and so poured it into a plastic cup.

I'm wondering about the curtain absorbing greasy residue and smells.

The curtain looks as though it's made from old burger buns.

I'm wondering about the curtain absorbing greasy residue and smells. There's actually a wall between the place and the curtain.
