Crassula suzanne is about as wonderful as anything could be ~ adorable! Not all succulents are adorable --

I had a suzannae about 3 times that size a few years back but a mouse ate most of it one winter.

I have always liked the randomness of Joshua trees. Conversely, those barrel cacti are too well aligned!

That Aloe is a beauty, Mick.
Bubba, I see I neglected to comment on your gallery of spiny delights. I love succulents for landscaping, although I have to say that house with the pink door flanked by forbidding Agaves is downright artistic in its strangeness.

I bought a tiny crassula ovata a few weeks ago. Last week I noticed that it had what looked like spider webs on it and the leaves are sticky. What is that?
Anyway, I put it outside hoping the rain would wash it off and so it wouldn't infect the plants nearby. Should I just throw it out?

I've had badly infested plants cleared by leaving out to the elements all summer until October.

Thanks, Mick. I'll leave it out for a while. I did see some tiny red spiders at the entrance to the veranda but none of my other plants have been affected. Right now it's pouring so that should wash off any bugs.

Red spider mite is tiny and you need a lens to see it but you can see the webs.
Can you take a picture which would help?

I picked off the webs and put the plant outside so there is nothing left to see. I guess the little red spiders I saw were not connected.
