Yeek! You can see the water level is right where the separation would be on a Dutch door -- half way up. Really great picture, Imec. What is a "time twin"?

Very close friend - born within hours of each other. kerouac - yes, it's a massive cleanup job (not to mention a lot of work to prep for the flood). Unfortunately, this has been their job 8 years out of the 14 they have been there. They have managed to keep the water out of the house though, even though it has been about 8 feet deep. btw, this place is only about 5 miles south of me - Winnipeg is protected by a floodway.

What is that building, casimira? That's the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad Building on Tchoupotoulis Street near the wharves. (it was renovated in last 5 years)

When I saw these shots last night, lingered over for quite a bit. This morning upon looking again realized that they are the epitome of what my mind's eye conjures up when I think of the streets of Paris.Although,I think previously were in black and white. Thanks for colorizing the arcane recesses of my memory bank!

Boy, the pond captured every twig on the tree and that deep winter sky, too. Beautiful picture, Casimira.

Now that is cool! It could be your avatar, Kerouac, with the laptop & the somewhat French-looking building.
