Perfect, cristina! Now that you have started, you will be amazed at the number of reflections that you see that you never noticed before.

I remember canoeing in the Okefenokee swamp and the reflections of the sky and tops of the bald cypress trees on the black water gave the strangest sensation of canoeing in the sky rather than on water... Too bad it was pre-digital camera and I don't have a slide scanner.

Beautiful water pictures, Casimira, with such a different feel to each. Love the shower of gold in the second and the delicate rings and serenity in the first.

The dome of Manitoba's legislative building - the fellow on top is "The Golden Boy" with a sheaf of wheat in one arm and a torch in the other. He faces north - symbolic of looking toward Manitoba's future (the north is rich in natural resources - the most important today being hydroelectric power).

I'd have preferred that one without reflections, bjd. My mouth waters!

Actually, I was trying to take the cooks inside the Chinatown restaurant. The reflections were a mistake.

I end up with a lot of photos like that, but I am trying to get both the inside and the outside to blend harmoniously so that both can be appreciated. Bjd came a lot closer to success than I usually do!

When I saw that this door was gnitcelfer, I used it to make a couple of self portraits.

Kerouac, what does that say on the back of the van?
Spinny, that's a nice picture, you've captured that so well.

What he said!
The self portrait is really fun, too, with all the verticals. And yes, I noticed your funny britches. ;D
Kerouac, those are nice snoitcelfer, but the faded signage alone was worth a picture.

Funny, I was just talking about Peña de Bernal with a friend yesterday. I want to visit there. In the meantime, it seems someone -- a monolith of the internet -- could do a nice photo spread on the place.

I did think of that but I thought it might be a bit juvenile.
