You're not going to get me to live on a little totally flat island in the middle of an ocean. When I was in the Maldives, the atoll I was on culminated at less than a meter above sea level, and in the previous tsunami most of the country was submerged when the swell came through.

What is the limit on this board for Asia/Oceania? Sad this comes up with typhoons and tsunamis, but there is a whole "série noire" of such ongoing right now - think the hugely populated island nations, such as Indonesia and Philippines, go in Asia, no?

Yes, Indonesia and the Philippines are indeed in Asia. Papua-New Guinea is the only larger country along with Australia-NZ that is classically considered to be part of the Pacific Island confetti.
