Excellent Italian variations, even though the second one is good old Pont-à-Mousson! We all need to travel more.

Hello On quite a few pics you can see the logos PAM or a bridge or both or once Pont A Mousson. You see Pam and the bridge of the latest from Mossie I saw it on numerous pics of Kerouac and one of Fumobici in Siena. PAM is located at pont a mousson and is a specialist of ductile cast iron. It has been bought by Saint-gobain in the 60's I think hence the bridge, symbol of the group coming from an actual bridge at the city of Saint gobain.

My mother went to boarding school in Pont-à-Mousson. A bridge was built across the Moselle there starting in the 13th century.

What does that mean -- is it extruded or something? Also very cool that you noticed that PAM and that you knew what it meant AND that Kerouac had that nugget of historical information about it.

Ductile means that itcan be reshaped, e.g. by hammering or drawing into wire.
Worried about your new avatar Bixa. Do you normally eat your sushi while roming the streets, and the fish looks extremely displeased

It looks worried, as is the wont of fish out of water.

I love the crisp contrast in that picture!
(Also -- forgot to thank Mossie for the explanation of ductile ~ Thanks, Mossie)

No, no, no! WE led the way. Way before all these people came along. APIAS have been trendsetters and in the forefront of chronicling these with great distinction. And, we would never debase ourselves with a name like "manholers".
( A belated thank you Fumobici for posting that link. I somehow missed that somewhere along the way)
