luggThis was in Mallorca, the Serra de Tramuntana. A very scenic drive! bixaorellana and kerouac2It's not the Mont Ventoux. The first picture is the Passo Stelvio, Italy. The second picture is the old San Gottardo Pass (Tremola - Andermatt). We love to drive passes and mountain roads, in any car. This time we drove our own car for our Grand Tour of Switzerland (sort of).

Oh, I know it's not the Mont Ventoux. Mont Ventoux is not quite as twisty. I was just reminding Bixa that she had seen a similar road before.
I have done the Saint Gotthard pass, too, but not for about ten years.

'On the road' to a shopping centre in Granada, this is one of the many things I like about Spain. Most large car parks, mostly underground, make it easy to find a space. You can see the number 13 pointing to the right to help you, there is a figure for each lane, plus over each space there is a light, either red for occupied or green for not. I come across this in other countries as well but it's now rare not to find it in public underground car parks in Spain -

The green and red lights are very common in France, too. (After all, it is the same companies building most of these car parks.) I can't imagine it being difficult to find a parking space at the moment.
