I absolutely love city windows that people manage to turn into a jungle. I have great difficulty keeping window plants alive. As for the food, what can I say? Just daily life! Seriously, I love market photos and yours are great. I regularly photograph the market right downstairs from my apartment even though I see it every day.

What a treat T63.!! Great photos, fun thread.! Keep it coming. Love the fountain too!! That window box appears to maybe have some culinary herbs in as well. Love when people are adventuresome and combine everyday house plants with herbs. Thanks for this!

I had a lot of plants on my balconies until very recently but alas everything has been brought inside (some to overwinter, some to be discarded). Those photos are lovely; I'd love to come upon that regional products market.

Wow, Traveler ~~ what a expansive and beautiful way to spend ones time in a country known for its celebration of food and drink. How did you all find the markets -- luck or research? I love the photos, not just of the glorious food, but of vendors and shoppers caught unawares, and the exquisite architectural details, and the ebullient window boxes -- so pretty, and so much fun.

All of the markets are just wandering around and actually bumping into them! One Sunday we were out off rue St Honore and bumped into one. Didn't take one picture !!!! shame on me, I forgot that I had a camera on my phone. The one thing that stood out was food was being cooked by absolutely wonderful looking Senegalese women in their native costumes, this is what is so wonderful to me about Paris. No one points at people dressed differently it is just all part of the charm and you do see every kind of dress.
