I read that Roger has a chance to get back his #1 position if all goes well.

I didn't get to watch the men's final last night, because we don't get cable. I turned it on hoping to see Nadal and Djokovic, and got instead a 20-somethings situation comedy.
Federer looks so much like my husband's family that it's hard to see him lose. I'd hate to think the era of Roger-Rafa finals is over, but Nadal's match with Murray was fun, and I could have been happy either way.
S. Williams: "We're in America last time I checked." I'm tempted to make that my latest catchphrase. Really too bad on her part, and way too low in sportsmanship.

I'm happy for Djokovic that it is his year, even though I have always liked Rafa and Roger as well (and it is really rare for me to like all three of the top three). I suppose it was necessary to become #1, but I'm also kind of sorry that Djokovic is so serious now. I really liked him better when he was younger and clowned around a lot.

I also enjoy the top three players. However, I think Rafa needs to be advised to switch to boxer briefs. Does anyone else notice how many times he has to pull his underwear out of the crack of his bottom? It was an excellent match! Cheers, Mich

It's always interesting to see how the world tennis rankings evolve. Here is latest list of men's rankings after the Paris-Bercy event last weekend. It makes me realise that I don't pay sufficient attention to tennis because there are some names I have no recollection of ever seeing before, such as Tomas Berdych or Mardy Fish.
1. Novak Djokovic (SRB) 13475 pts
2. Rafael Nadal (ESP) 9375
3. Andy Murray (GBR) 7380
4. Roger Federer (SUI) 6670
5. David Ferrer (ESP) 4480
6. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA) 3535 (+2)
7. Tomas Berdych (CZE) 3300
8. Mardy Fish (USA) 2965 (+1)
9. Janko Tipsarevic (SRB) 2395 (+4)
10. Nicolas Almagro (ESP) 2380 (+1)
11. Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) 2315 (+1)
12. Gilles Simon (FRA) 2165 (+2)
13. Robin Söderling (SWE) 2120 (-7)
14. Andy Roddick (USA) 1940 (+1)
15. Gaël Monfils (FRA) 1935 (-5)
16. Alexandr Dolgopolov Jr. (UKR) 1925 (+1)
