Fabulous series Bixa, so colourful and interesting.
What a shame about the graffitti in your last K2, but the photo is great. I don't think I would have noticed the windows were also painted if youhad not pointed it out.

At ground level is the famous café La Gentilhommière, where I have sat and waited for friends many times over the past 40 years. Oh wow Kerouac - I didn't realize that on a slightly gloomy December evening 2011 I caught some of the building in your picture and never realized that it was painted! Another fabulous thread with amazing photos!!! I have such a hard time concentrating on work since I found this board ;-)

One thing about the Image Bank, once your brain has registered the names of some of the threads, alarms go off in your mind all over the place if you have your camera with you.

Your dad sounds like a peach! Fabulous bunch of photos, Skater. I love all of them, but absolutely adore the truck melded with the Aztec serpent & the totally brilliant block building (last one in #123) Another fabulous thread with amazing photos!!! And, heh heh heh heh, just to make you a little crazy ~~ anyportinastorm.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=arts&thread=966&page=1#164633One thing about the Image Bank, once your brain has registered the names of some of the threads, alarms go off in your mind all over the place if you have your camera with you. Ain't it the truth! Carrying those threads around in your head is also an incentive to carry the camera with you everywhere.

Fantastic series of photos, Skater
My eye was drawn to the face " Eternal Sunshine of Bird City" Is that a local name for Phoenix ?

Thanks so much lugg!! No it is not, but it could be - we have a lot of birds here LOL. We are usually known as "the valley of the sun".
Glad you enjoyed them. It was super fun exploring and taking the photos!

I have been meaning to snap this for some time - in fact since I read a post by Imec referring to the " Moggie" As I took it from the car whilst the lights were on red I could not avoid capturing the traffic signal.

I tried looking that up, but am still not quite sure of the reference. Nice pic for one taken at a stop light.

What a fun collection this is (mostly) Such imaginative and skillful artists and photographers. My city does not have anything like it...just amateur daubs and graffiti.

I was just viewing all of this thread again, such a wonderful collection. As I viewed it from start to finish I began to wonder about the budget allocated to decorating walls in France. I suspect that it must be quite a good business to be in.

That is a most exotic bird for such a mundane location.
Thanks Kerouac, for bringing us these masterpieces.
