Is it ? I call it boring and unimaginative. Beside, 'idle chat' and it's half-cousin small talk are one thing; regularly posting about it on a forum is something else.

But perhaps there are people -- not you, obviously -- who want to talk about the weather. I suggest you simply avoid threads that have the word "winter" or "rain" or the like in them.
