Amazing! I wonder what possessed them?
Is that Madeleine's house in the first picture?
Since I'm posting in this thread, here's a reminder to always have your camera on hand: The other day I was coming home in a shared taxi. There was a guy on a motorbike with a passenger behind him in the lane next to the taxi. The 'bike driver was a clown in full regalia, including the rubber nose and big shoes.

The other day, this neon zigzag caught my eye When I saw the first picture in this series, I thought it was a ribbon carried by the wind into the branches of the tree. Fabulous!

The Artcurial gallery clearly seems to be having some sort of superhero sale at the moment.

That must make you feel safer! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These pictures are less unexpected to me than to some of you, as I'm used to roof dogs in Mexico. There's a street near my house with two on the roof that go crazy whenever anyone walks by. Until yesterday, I didn't realize they were my cousins (but my dress is prettier). Apologies for the bad quality -- late afternoon low light. But it is a slide show.

Seen in a park in England, (my old hometown). They were trying to advertise an upcoming sporting event - I don't see the connection myself:

Parked outside my shop yesterday.......I never thought of doing this to mine! Yes, I agree it's a bit childish but unfortunately never saw the driver so can't say whether it was a young or older person. I would probably guess the owner is female.......a gift from daddy???

There should be enough microwave radiation coming off that array of transmitters/repeaters to cook a chicken in Belleville. Or Bordeaux.

Being the principal transmission tower of the region is what saved it from being torn down in the first place.
No work on it right now, Bixa -- that is how it always looks on top.

Kerouac, I have never experienced a shoe barn. Can you tell me more about it? Is it like warehouse shopping like an IKEA?

Let's just call it a clearance store for junk quality shoes.
