Bixa, if you mean the water clock, it's in the park attached to the Villa Borghese in Rome, Italy. The 6-hour clock is over the entrance to the pope's country place in Castelgandolfo.

Here's Saint Pancras -- not as ornate as the Orsay.

Imec, what is that building in #10, please?
Love the Breitling watch/clock.

Gosh ~~ the variety!
Kerouac, do you know what the material surrounding the last clock in #14 might be? Wood?
The 1st clock in #15 looks like a replacement for an earlier one.
Superb picture, GreyGhost! I love how you framed it.

Yes, that is wood in #14 -- at Gare du Nord in Paris.

I LOVE this thread- some really cool clocks! bixa, sorry, I missed your question... and sorry, byt I don't know what that building is - it's in London so maybe one of the Brits can shed some light on? greyghost1, hahahahha! I did a double take and thought maybe someone was pilfering my images! Here's my similar take on that clock in the Orsay...

For those who have not been to the Orsay yet, I thought it might be useful to show what the clock (or clocks, since there are actually two of them) looks like from the outside.

Imac...nice, you got Basilique De Sacre Coeur! Kerouac, its funny how dramatic they look from the inside and rather simply like clocks on the outside.

That is really something! Any idea of what it's all supposed to mean?
I magnified it and can see the signs of the zodiac running around it. The long hand is a fasces with a spear coming out of it. The symbol on the other end looks somehow familiar, but I don't know what it is. The short hand has the caduceus on one end, and a sword hilt (?) on the other.
Intriguing.

I could actually use some help figuring out this clock. This overlooks the main piazza in Città di Castello in Umbria. OK, the big dial on the left is hours, the big dial on the right is minutes- the little one above divided into eight divisions marked by letters (or a cross at the three o'clock position), this is the one we couldn't figure out. Can any of you worldly sophisticates clue me in?
