Some of you may remember, in December, my mom's car was stolen . Anyway, she took possession of her new (second hand) Ford Dash last week. I remembered that my maternal grandmother, always had a stuffed monkey on the back seat of her car. She said he was her protection and friend. I decided to buy my mom a monkey for her new car. I would like to name it. Any suggestions?

Norman. My hubby once had a female dog called Norman. It was so odd but I liked it.

or you could call him "Secondo"?

Edited because I originally used Repertoire's old name.

Thank you all for your contributions.
I bought him at a Build A Bear Workshop, meaning you choose him and stuff him and dress him. They also give a "birth certificate" with h8im, so his birth certificate says Prof. Dash (spindrift can you read my mind?), so it is his "middle, christian, first name" that we are looking for.
I gave him to my mom yesterday, and told her all your suggestions, (and ours, which were Basil, Norman and Harold), she liked Kerouac's Desmond, but she is going to wait a few days before baptising him.

I have never seen a bear with reading glasses before. I always assumed that their eyesight was always pretty good.
Prof Desmond Dash sounds pretty good.
