One of the mottos of Phonic FM is "no play list".
Which means that I haven't yet caught the name of that greek singer on the "Respect Show" - hosted by DJ Retsina, who sings so beautifully about red and white wine I belive his first name may be George (Giorgios, Giorgos, Yorgos...).
If any of you know of a very lively greek folk music type song talking about wine... let me know!
If you don't do you know/enjoy that type of music?

To me, this music goes perfectly with the summery temperatures we are currently experiencing in the UK.

I love this music too Annie!! I went through a bouzouki phase some years back as well, while preparing for a trip to Greece that never happened (9/11 ). Positively drove my husband right up the wall... Thanks for this. I wonder if Baz heard some cool music during his stay there this past year?

We heard some live music in one of the tavernas in Paleochora. It encouraged a big table of teachers to get up and dance. We still sometimes play Cretan music. We tune in to Radio Gavdos on the computer. This broadcasts from the island of Gavdos which we could see on the horizon and is the southernmost radio station in Europe. Only 5 families live permanently on the island though it gets quite a number of campers in the summer.
