Are you on the verge of death, Kimby? I hope not. But I have all kinds of ominous symptoms and get no sympathy at all. Mr. Kimby's brother is a bonafide hypochondriac, so any symptom I may exhibit is looked at with heightened suspicion as potential malingering. If I am puking my guts out, though, I may be dismissed from my chores. But I won't be seeing a doctor for the symptoms.

i had a leech on my leg yesterday (i tiny one) took ages to get it off, and afterwards i kept thinking i feel leeches somewhere hidden under my trousers (i was in public, so no checking possible).

Every year health workers go around to educate the public about dengue. I don't let them in where I live, ever since I found out they put poison in anything they deem standing water. Anyway, I was trying to get rid of them and the female worker was pompously delivering her spiel about the symptoms of dengue.
There has been a cold/flu thing going around, which hit me the following day. You can of course guess that I immediately & paranoically diagnosed it as dengue.
