Deyana - soon the moon will be 'decroissant' (see page one)....so please get ready to take some pics of it in this phase. I'll do the same and we can compare.

I'll try spinny, but my camera is not very good, or I haven't learnt how to set it properly. I'll have a go though

It's an experiment. I've always wondered whether people on the other side of the globe see the moon in their location as I see it in mine. Whilst in the Seychelles or Kenya I've fancied that the moon seemed the 'other way round'....
So we'll see then. It doesn't matter about whether the camera is good or not! Thanks.

Spindrift, my camera is not only 'not' good, but it's crap! At least that's the way I've been feeling about it recently. But I will take the pics, just tell me when and where and what of.

Deyana - I bet you think I've forgotten about photographing the crescent moon - BUT either it's not showing in the sky these days or it's cloudy

They're art shots, Kerouac! The palms really make them look Egyptian, too.

Just took these a couple of mins ago. It is a lovely crescent moon out there this evening. Don't know you can make that out or not in these two pics:
