Hope the rain continues in the drought areas, Questa.
I hate to say this, but it's very nice here. All that rain we had earlier means it will stay green long when the dry season settles in. You all can skip my posts about that, as it will be the same bitching it is every year.

It was raining at dawn but now it's sunny. Major chill in the air.

Still shitty. The "lake" at the bottom of my garden has got bigger again, the ground being so soaked that it doesn't absorb anything. And we just had a hail storm. 10°.

I had rain most if yesterday driving 4 hours into Germany and 4 out if it. Rain accompanied me home. Today sunny and we went from 1c to 4c in one hour. Glagla.

Questa, according to my westher app the weather in Adelaide seems all over the place. 17 on Saturday and 31 Monday. Is that typical for this time of the year? Usually expect 19-28 range and light winds. Now we have damaging winds in evening, and temps all over the place. Perth got 40 C yesterday. Eastern States are totally out of whack from the heat cells created by the fires. And it is not even summer yet!

Today was so crummy, cold and wet in Paris that it now seems appropriate for the Christmas items to all be in place, something which was not nearly as obvious last week.
(This must seem strange for the people of the southern hemisphere.)

The sun actually came out for a couple of hours this afternoon. I just went for a walk and was certainly not the only one taking advantage of the break in the rain. Didn't go over 11° though.

The temperature here has lowered a few degrees from mid thirties and it is a bit strange to see all the Christmas stuff for sale in the supermarkets.

The bush fires in NSW and Sydney are making the news here which suggests that it is really terrible.

Indeed. I was just reading it too.
Been a lovely sunny day here. Quite warm for the time of year.

Snow flurries here in Montana. AND in Wisconsin, where the Green Bay Packers (American Football) are holding onto a lead at Lambeau Field, the setting of the 1967 “Ice Bowl” NFL championship game.

I guess I should stop complaining about the rain then.
I did just hear on the radio news that France has had more rain in the past 8 days than in the previous 6 months. But at least we don't have to shovel it. On Friday my sister who lives 120 km north of Toronto sent me photographs of her garden furniture covered in snow, and not just a dusting.

Cloudy with outbreaks of heavy rain OF COURSE! I managed to catch a quick glimpse of a tiny teeny Mercury creeping across the sun through the little Coronado telescope....then had a rush the scope undercover again....

This morning it's not raining! First day since November 1st. Of course, no acqua alta, although we noticed that the water level in the lake nearby went up. That is surprising because the surface is 3.8 square kms!Not deep but still it implies a huge amount of water increase.
11° at the moment.

Weather completely screwed up here. We got our first frost only a few days ago (it had been pleasantly mild) then on Monday we got 15cm of s-n-o-w. Not a happy lagatta nor a happy Livia, though she did go out yesterday and today to explore her tiny territory and pee on it. At least she is very, very cuddly.

Woke to a temperature of -20C. There is a threat of 15-25 cm of snow hovering to the west of our city that is supposed to miss us. I hope so!

Today was what they said would be the best day of the week. Not all that great although we saw a bit of sun, and I was able to bask in golden ray a bit with huckle at Place de la République, but the bad stuff coming is not all that bad -- just "seasonal."

Absolutely terrible here - incessant rain, floods, multiple car accidents through idiotic driving. My poor daughter had to manage a school trip throughout and is traumatised. My horses' field is a lake.
