Can you tell the weather from this picture? It was very windy and quite cool all day long. There were patches that looked like this, but just as much of the time it was very gray. I took the picture as I left my house a little before 11:30 this morning. I was so sure it was going to warm up, but I was wrong.

Mr. C. mentioned that you may be experiencing some gusts from that hurricane off the Pacific B. I guess you're too far inland.

That probably is the source of the wind, also the rain we had yesterday & the day before.

What you would consider cold, I would probably consider warm!

Another chill morning here in the 50's. Hopefully the mercury will climb considerably during the day as the sun comes up. Am about to embark on one of my busiest weeks work wise. Seems the cooler weather brought people out to see their jungles and decided they (I) need to do something. Happens every year.

I think having Danish blood makes me hate the heat. I can always dress for cold, once I'm down to shorts, sandals and a T and I'm still hot there's nothing really to do.

Plenty of ways to cool down, fumobici! its down to the material of the clothes you wear... and actually shorter isn't always better in the heat. and eat plain yoghurt to which you add a pinch of salt and a little pepper. it does work. Or infuse some sage and dip a flannel in the infusion. dab on your skin. it's magic.

Last week was cold in the mornings and sunny, with a cold north wind blowing. Yesterday the wind changed and started to blow from the southeast, so today it's cloudy and 15° in the morning, instead of the 4° we had on Sunday. It is supposed to rain -- everything is so dry.

We've had a kind of monsoon today. Thankfully not when I was cycling. lots of headwind this morning, bearing the smell of the sea; I had to pedal as hard as if I was going uphill!

That would have been sinister, SD. Preparing for the highs of winter, no doubt? The forecasters got it very wrong here, it is actually dull but dry and mild as opposed to the promised forecast of high winds and cold, heavy rain. These are the same people who try to forecast global warming for the next 100 years and they cant even manage to cover the next day correctly!
