I always pan fry steak. Maybe I should grill it? What cut of meat do you get?

Never mind, Bixa. I too wondered what that dark stuff was.
Speaking of grilling steak -- my aunt is/was a terrible cook. One day there was a family meal and she served steak she had "grilled" in the oven. My sister said, "She doesn't grill it, she cremates it."

My grandmother always broiled steak in the oven and it always came out well. I pan fry because I feel more confident doing that.
