Gosh, those last two pictures are so very different from each other, but both such good photos & great for this theme. Both of them have overlapping circles, too.

Trees killed by pine beetles, stacked for removal. The blue stain is a fungus that the beetles carry, which kills the tree by blocking its water transport channels.

Nice pic! Do you get a cube of cheese when you make it to the middle & out again?

No chance ;D The middle is carefully disguised quicksand which sucks one down into the real Hell of Place des Fetes, from which there is no escape

Ohh, both Rikita's & Lugg's are so dreamlike in such very different ways.
Wonderful b&W, Rikita -- simultaneously severe and beautiful, with a somewhat sci-fi air to it.
Glorious, jewel-like colors in yours, Lugg. It gives a floating sense of a portal to a different consciousness. There are two lagoons(?), right? Taken from an airplane?

Hi Bixa, Yes taken from a plane departing Male. Just one lagoon I think but the illusion of two because of the different colours created by the water depth.

Thanks. There is a barely seen sliver in the extreme left, upper third quadrant, that I thought looked like another lagoon. I just love the way the big one looks as though it's floating in the sky.
