Nice sunny day, though. Is it a bit chilly?

Just how early did you get there, kerouac? I did wonder from our one frustrating visit to Honfleur how early or late you'd have to arrive to avoid the crowds. Your photos prove that there is plenty to see in Honfleur if the place is quiet, but when is it quiet?
The afternoon we visited, the streets were so busy with people that I didn't want to get out of the car even though E found a parking place. He insisted we walk around. I was a little surly as we walked past a Sotheby's real estate office, art galleries, and expensive gift or clothing stores, but I perked up when I saw the church. I'd read about the unique church, built of wood in the form of an upturned boat. When we got there the entryway was packed with other visitors so we shuffled our way in and glimpsed the ceiling and then shuffled our way out. I did enjoy hearing several languages I didn’t recognize.
School was just out and local teenagers were hanging around any open areas, and I thought they probably enjoyed the crowds more than anybody else.
So I'm prepared to enjoy your visit to Honfleur more than I did ours.

It appears you should have visited in the dead of winter, Breeze.

I knew it wasn't warm anywhere in the area, but didn't spot the ice. Yes, places like that can be very deserted in the wintertime. I've been to conferences held on the Flemish coast, and there were no other visitors.
The fish looked appealing, but you'd need somewhere to cook it.
It is a pretty town; I love the half-timbered narrow houses. According to the Wiki article it was one of very few towns in Normandy relatively spared from war damage.
I'd like to visit it, preferably off season if I'm in France then. Is there a rail connection from Paris?

Much quieter than in the summer! I remember we had an excellent lunch there at La Fleur de Sel. (I always remember restaurants first, before anything else)

Super pictures all, but the one of the harbor with the water reflections is really outstanding. Nicely framed.
Despite the cold, I think this would be my favorite time to visit. I really hate it when places are so crowded you can't see anything but masses of people.

Judging by your photos, you were invigorated and inspired by all that clear cold light and the truly lovely town. I can almost smell the mimosa through the monitor. I wonder what it would be like there in early Spring, when it would be warmer and presumably no crowds yet.

Your photos shows that the old port is especially photogenic at night, all lit up and reflected in the water, but I don't think I've ever seen a night shot of it before, so thank you.
