Thank you Bixa, I would think your grandfather would have had a difficult time ever saying no to you. Cheers, Mich

I comfort myself by thinking it must be a burden to be that beautiful.
Super picture, by the way!

On the photo with the Kalashnikov I'm just taking the pose. The guy in the background who seems to show me something to shoot was speaking to someone else actually. It makes a nice photo however That is a beautifully composed photo. If kinda scary.

I certainly did not want to post my photo after that of the gorgeous and youthful nycgirl, but perhaps a couple of baby pictures wouldn't hurt. {Click if you dare!}

Thanks, but since I'm not as bold or as attractive as a few others it was a good compromise.

That's a clever idea for a photo animation. One from each camera right? Using the viewfinder is obviously more modest. K2 in such company is probably having a better time than he did with FMT and I. Bixa, you look ready for the evening passeggiata in Milan or trastevere. Here I am below. If I look a little pensive or dour, perhaps it's because we are sailing to a little bay on an island to spread the ashes of a dear friend we lost last year.

I think most people take more photos in happy times, rather than during those events when we are feeling more introspective and thoughtful. It's good you have such an appropriate photo of yourself on a day dedicated to remembering your dear friend, fumobici.

Three of your fellow anyporters, folks ~ You know what I love about this photo (besides the mystery and vertiginous action)? All three of you are wearing wristwatches (I think). No one wears them anymore, except me, I thought!

Is it unusual to get three right handed wristwatch wearers in the same photo? I wear mine on my left wrist, and I thought that was the most common practice.

-20° and you took off your glove, lizzie?! How brave of you.
I rarely wear my watch any more but indeed wear it on my left wrist when I do.

Hey Breeze & Htmb ~ I moved Breeze's question and Htmb's & my answers about holding cameras/what kinds of cameras to the "Cameras" thread in Image Bank's sub-board Equipment. As it happened, the previous last post in that thread had been mine, talking about how pleased I was with my camera. So, Breeze, if you will please go to page three of the "Cameras" thread, starting with #89, you'll have your answers, okay? anyportinastorm.proboards.com/thread/5240/cameras?page=3Thanks for giving me an opportunity to talk about my little cutie!

Ha, thanks Fumobici! I am taking my evening passegiatas in breezy Trapani right now. Why aren't you here with me covering up the fact that I don't speak Italian? I very much like your picture on the boat. Having seen others of you in happy poses, the more solemn candid makes for a lovely portrait. Lizzy, what happened to your "Frozen" picture? You looked quite the cute winter sprite in it.
