Hello All,
I am visiting Toronto for the first time, and I am keen to see the progressive and artsy parts of the city. In that light I would appreciate any info on museums, veggie eateries, and political (lectures) events.
Thanks much

Toronto is a fascinating city, but it's been too long since I was there to provide any useful tips. Maybe some of our experts will check in here soon, though.

Well, Toronto is very alive, welcoming and vibrant. We have (I think) the largest immigrant population in North America...about 65% to 70% of our population. The city is a cultural mosaic and not a melting pot. There are 'villages' throughout...Greek, Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese,Korean, German, Polish etc. etc. This magazine is great to look at and can also be picked up, for free, at many outlets, Now magazine: www.nowtoronto.com/
