A brilliant photo Questa....the setting sun reflecting off the back of that wet little child! My youngest grandson before he had his "little boy" haircut.

To Bixa, lugg and tod2...thank you for your appreciation. All the little boys were running in and out of the water but he just sat there totally absorbed in making a channel and watching the water flow into it.
Tod ...Your grandson looks like an angel with a halo, what a shame to have to progress to "little boy"

Questa, that's a lovely bit of character insight you provided!
Tod, what a brilliant capture of a moment in childhood -- super photograph!

Thanks Bixa - There has been a discussion about photos taken with Mobile Phones versus conventional cameras.....this is a Mobile phone one taken with an Apple iPhone. Not bad eh?

Wonderful pensive portrait, Rikita.
Love those two, Htmb. I admired them over in your Washington thread & was hoping you'd put them here.

Beautiful sunlight & shadow, Htmb, plus lovely picture of a happy childhood moment. Love the way you framed that picture to impart so much information so economically, Rikita. Is that one of your protégés?

thanks ... no, i don't know him, just saw him at a festival, and found it interesting how the people in the parade - usually the ones being photographed - photograph and look at pictures too...

Bixa...those children are REALLY nightmare material, having the "baby" makes it worse. creepy!
Brilliant photo though.

Thanks ~~ glad I could scare you guys! That's a wonderful photo, Questa, with its wealth of detail and how well you captured the five main subjects. Wonder how long they managed to stay that clean.

Beautiful photo Rikita. I actually thought at first that the sky was water with trees reflecting into it and that the person was cross country skiing versus downhill.

If the idea of "princess" or "fairy" had never been invented, I wonder what would attract little girls. Same thing for boys if you eliminate super heroes, cowboys and knights.
