Nice pictures. 1873 sounds very late to me to be the "first Roman Catholic church" -- or perhaps they mean the first one "built by Italian immigrants"?

Super cool presentation, Ninchursanga! Staunch Democrat though I am, I never knew that about the donkey.

That is a very cool presentation. I love how those residential buildings look.

Oh, more great pictures! I love how you caption them. What do the stairs go to, please -- the side of the monument? The last picture in that group is great, with the houses looking like a toy village. I'm reading a book right now about early explorers & settlers in N.America. It goes into detail about the impact on the native peoples.

You can go up the Bell Tower Monument, it has stairs inside - 294 to be exact, and it was quite a bit of exercise. I loved how you could peak on people's roof garden. From the street I'd never guessed they were there. And some were really fancy!
I'll put my other photos as well, but it'll take some time and I'll also write some little trip report.

Oh! I remember climbing all those stairs...particularly the last 20 or so. But the view made it worth it.
I really like how you've arranged your photos into storyboards.
