But back to the fashion aspect of this thread. I meant to ask you, Lizzyfaire ~~ do you plan to consciously take any fashion-conscious photos of the woman-on-the-street when you're in Paris? It would make a fun follow-up to this thread.

Sure, bixa, maybe I'll go to the same locales and take photos from the same angles so we can compare. I'll never be as dedicated as kerouac, though, I tend to get too caught up in moments to remember to take photos. But I will try to remember. Good idea.

I think those "disaffected youth" in the last picture are tourists, but not from 1963, a few years later. The clue is that red/striped bag on the girl's lap. Everybody who went to Greece in those days had one. Those three young women could have come directly from one of my parents' cocktail parties in the mid-sixties.
