Oh, I remember seeing these! They looked really cool lit up at night. Wish I had taken pictures of them. For some reason I never got around to it.

It's amazing what a joy it is to see cascading water, even if it is cascading off scaffolding. Moving water mesmerizes everyone.

I know I was there in 2008. (we were there in September so it must have come and gone) I don't know how on earth I missed this. That year my husband and I did one of our walks across the Brooklyn Bridge so I know I would have seen/heard a waterfall....

They may not have been turned on 24/7, which would have lead visiting people to think there might just be some bridge repair works underway.
