Well, I see that this is where I have to post updates on Livia, but will need someone to take pictures.

His cousins may be domesticated, but this one lives in the wild.

Even if this was a temporary arrangement, it looks pretty grim.

Bald as a coot ? - or just a bit sparse on top. They are rather gorgeous Bixa - remind me a little of my old boy and makes me want to get another cat again even more.

For 10 years i worked in charleroi we all gave money to an association that trained fogs for hhe blinds.
I always felt it was a strange omen for a man married to an ophtalmo.

Grandpa had a shop selling groceries, fruit and vegetables, he had a horse and cart to deliver to customers. Found this pic taken in the 1950s of the horse. Grandpa died when I was a baby so I don't remember him. Obviously I don't remember the horse....

It must have been a well-loved horse because we all know how expensive photography used to be, so photos other than portraits of people from that period are pretty rare.

Well, one of my grandfathers was a vet. Before you think I come from privilege and wealth, the market for "horse medicine" fell apart during the Crisis and there was not yet systematic veterinary inspection of cattle, sheep, pigs or other livestock, not to mention pets.

Wow - how lovely Cheery , even though there are lots of horses where I live I rarely see any being driven. Oddly enough I did last night in my village. I guess people feel safer driving horses with less traffic.
