I have seen some of these in the past but did not know they were " flash mobs" until very recently. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_mobsPlease add any you like here - the good, bad and indifferent. I think this particular one is great and very topical with the recent release of the film.

The Sound of Music at the Antwerp train station is an absolute classic.

Some of the more amateurish ones are often more heartwarming than the big professional ones -- I like this one by Air France employees at CDG.

Ha ~~ good stuff!
This is slightly different, unchoreographed mob behavior guaranteed to give you a laugh:

Brilliant.
I just love seeing the different reactions from the " audience " on them all .
Yep had me laughing ;D

What I like best in those flashmob music events are the children, especially in the Som Sabadell one. They really are enthralled and spontaneous. All the adults immediately take out their cell phones and take pictures.

Excellent. Very clever how the orchestra was gradually assembled. Can a rerun be organised for my pending arrival?.

Oh, what fun! I would love to have come across that scene at Gare du Nord! Clever how they taped music to their backs, too.

One thing that somewhat perplexes me is that Julie Gayet, the president's new girlfriend, is standing in the middle of the crowd.

Love this. Jamin proposes with the help of a few friends. Small, amateur and great. Jamin is a fabulous dancer. The song is Marry You, by Bruno Mars and the dance begins at 1:20

i always wonder how often, in these kind of public proposals the other person says no. or how often she wants to say no, but doesn't dare to, in front of all those people, because it would be too embarrassing ...

The song basically says that we will continue to sing and dance and embrace each other even if it is only in our minds and that we will continue to fight back against the merchants of fear.

*barf* Off with the masks! Do what you want! We won't be held back! "Merchants of fear" indeed.

Since there is no way that this could have been really spontaneous, I'll post it here.

What a coincidence. I just went on youtube to check something and this came up in my recommendations. I did watch it and then came here. I agree, to unlikely to be spontaneous.
