Yes, that was yesterday.
No snow planned for today, but it might snow again tomorrow.

I woke this morning to snow as well. Less than in Paris and there is none on the sidewalks or roads. Just the trees looking nice. I suppose it will melt fairly soon though. Meanwhile, yesterday I noticed some mimosa trees in full bloom!

We're infested with the stuff this year. Decorated as usual with dog shit and cigarette ends.

Yes, today being a semi-thaw partially sunny day, I was noticing not just the brown snow but all of the trash mixed with it since the street cleaners can't work right now. With a little luck, a bit of cleaning might be managed by the end of the day, before tomorrow's snow. On Tuesday, there was not even any domestic trash pickup, and that is normally done 364 days a year in Paris.

Wonderful Photos Kerouac! I found some terrific You Tube videos showing how beautiful Paris looks covered in her white blanket. I particularly like 'Snowy Paris 2018' as the background music was so apt. I suppose the Seine will rise even further when the snow melts, or not?

I think it is still dropping -- very slowly -- at the moment, so the news has been talking about the added misery of some of the people living in the suburbs whose houses have been flooded for two weeks -- and now the water is freezing.
