There was another thread about this but there is also the matter of who lives the closest or the farthest from their birthplace.

I have children who were born four minutes apart.

On the same day? Twins?

Yes, twin sons. I had them 27 months after my older daughter, and ten years before my younger daughter was born.

In terms of having babies, that's almost like being a machine gun.

Yes, so true, Mossie. I will spare you all the childbirth story, but let's just say they were very small and the situation was extremely high risk both for them and for me. Fortunately, all was ultimately fine and they've grown to be very tall, strong, and handsome men.

Mossie's mostest made me wonder who might have logged the most hours in the air. Now that's a bait I have to rise to because I have a feeling some of you well travelled people can better me. So much of my flying was in short trips, sometimes 10 minutes or less. Years ago, when I was teaching myself Excel, I transcribed my RAF logbook into it and played with the database functions. In the RAF I had flown 1229 hours and 5 minutes in 1064 flights. This gives an average flight duration of 1 hour 9 minutes. I also guess at doing perhaps 100 - 130 hours in civil aircraft which I have not kept any record of. Kerouac and Anshjain with all their globetrotting, can possibly beat me easily.

Hmm. Looks as though "logged" might be the operative factor in figuring out hours. Probably most people don't keep track unless they're figuring out frequent-flyer miles.
1300+ hours in the air is a bunch!

we could count who had sex with people from the most different nationalities, but then, i suppose we are much too discreet to talk about that...

Yes, TTR already did that anyway and you saw what happened to TTR.

Hmm. Someone once revealed that he is quite tall. Who might that be, & is that person the most tall of them all?

So, Kerouac, are you possibly the tallest in the Port?
What about the most shoes? Anyone admit to having mild Imelda Marcos tendencies?

I have a sister who could give Mrs. Marcos a run for her money, but my only mostest clothes thing would be rebozos. I doubt there are contenders for that here.

btw, what is everyone's age difference to cousins? my daughter has cousins that are older than me - i suppose they are about 35 years older than her, and have children that are also older than her...

Yes, that situation of aunts and uncles who are younger than their nephews and nieces has always intrigued me -- but there has been none of that in my family.

In my family I have first cousins who were very close in age to my father, they were his nephews. They were (are) the children of my father's eldest brothers. My father was the youngest of ten. I grew up calling them 'uncle' because it would have been considered disrespectful to call them by their first names they were that much my elder.

My ex's family is like that, though there aren't as many of them as in your family, casimira. Everyone is called by their first name and it took my 19-year-old self awhile to get used to calling someone by their first name when they were eons older than me.

My mother is one of her cousin's godmother, but the cousin's husband has always called my mother 'aunt' due to their age difference.

It can get confusing. My youngest child, the youngest of the grandchildren, is closer to her second cousins since her first cousins range from 15 to 35 years older.

I think I must hold the title for the most typos ever. I put it all down to the fact that my brain works faster than my fingers can type And on top of that I'm usually too lazy to go back and correct them. I just ain't that bothered.... hehe..... at least I'm consistent with them. ;D

I bet I have the mostest empty boxes and old newspapers sitting in the garage waiting to be taken to the recycling station. Today's the day to deal with it all and reduce my mostest status!

My parents would save up so many empty bottles before going to the big bottle bins next to Winn Dixie that we must have looked like the ultimate wino family when we were disposing of them.
