Fabulous figgy! I always am looking through pamphlets and leaflets when we are traveling, we have found a few interesting tours and museums we might never have known about.
Licorice flavor! I will have to remember that the next time we visit.
Good job figgy! I think it would be a fun experience.

Lovely photos, sk8r.
Could your husband make it to the top of Notre-Dame? I'd like to do that sometime.
When I took my family to the Eiffel Tower last Dec. 25 I had thought there was a skating rink around somewhere. We poked around awhile looking for it, decided I was mistaken; anyway we only wanted to watch for awhile. Little did I know it was over our heads.
How fun to take the macaron class and good of you to let us sit in on it. Beautiful. Last time I happened to walk by the Laduree on Rue Bonaparte I stood in line long enough to drink in the visual delight, then left without buying anything.
My touristic style seems to be: close, free, then gone.

Thanks Lola !! No, unfortunately my husband can't walk much anymore. 1-2 minutes straight with something to hold on to maybe. a few steps (like here at our house) but nothing like Notre Dame. We had a wheel chair for him so we could do a lot of sight seeing and took the bus too. There was an ice rink at Trocadero - right in front of the little Christmas Market that led down to the Eiffel Tower. Now it was still there when I visited with my German GF on the 23rd, but not sure how long they had it up. Glad you enjoyed the pix…. I am hoping to post a few more soon

The main ice skating rink is in front of the Hôtel de Ville, right across from Notre Dame.

Very nice photos, Skater. You manage to do good night pictures -- mine are so often fuzzy.

Excellent photos Skater. I am so glad that I did not see your previous post until after the macarons I made for Xmas dinner had been eaten. I was half pleased with them, but yours are outstanding. I would love to attend that cookery class too.

Thank you all !!! Happy New year 2014 Lugg - I was tempted to try them at home for the last two years but once I knew we'd come back to Paris last April I figured I'd better wait and it was such a fun and great experience. The cooking school is small but has great reviews and it was very close to our apt. "La Cuisine Paris" I'll post more photos soon…. still struggling with jet lag. I think this is the first time we are up on New Years Day at 6 a.m. LOL. I hope everybody had a save, fun and happy one! ;D
