Might be interesting, depends exactly what you get to see, perhaps. But not at that price (they had something similar for London a few years ago, but I think that died the death, commercially speaking).

I hope that part of the price is a blight tax for uglying my sky.

According to the France 24 article, the owner's dream will is to have 15 in operation.

I would mind seeing them less if they were "anonymous" rather than always having a huge name or advertisement on the side. They could be turned into beautiful works of art if anybody had a bit of imagination.
In any case, the overflight of Paris is forbidden, so such things can only be seen in the suburbs.

I rather like blimps too. I remember seeing the Goodyear blimp hovering overhead many years ago.
In the report I heard yesterday, it's like being in a boat but high up --it must be fun.

I somehow missed this thread along the way. I LOVE blimps and can detect the drone of one nearby. Somewhere, on here, I posted a memory of going up in a Goodyear Blimp with my father out of a small airport near our home on my 8th birthday. It was a kind of fluke in that my father and I used to go to this little private airport and on that particular day, there was a Goodyear Blimp anchored down. My father chatted with the pilot and the next thing I knew, we were up in the air, floating over my home town, school, ponds, potato fields, it was magical. I've always welcomed the sound and site of them ever since. Despite the fact that they may not be GoodYears (mostly Met-Life etc... that show up here for big events.) It doesn't matter. I love blimps.
