Eurostar is in the midst of one of its advertising campaigns and generally does identical remakes of its British and French commercials.
So here you can compare the clichés.
London to Paris
Paris to London

I still haven't been on eurostar. The last time I crossed the channel from the UK to France it was via a ferry and before that via a hovercraft. I need to try the train next time around. To me the French side seems much more interesting. And ooh that accent

Was the photo of Burger King in London supposed to attract the French?

Yes. I understand they're positively stampeding there for that reason right now.
Not a value judgment about which place is better, but I think that of the two ads, London came out looking more desirable.

Believe it or not, the reply about Burger King is yes, since the chain pulled out of France about 15 years ago and is sorely missed by its fans. However, the chain is slowing returning to France via an Italian franchiser. Two locations were opened 11 months ago (at autoroute rest stops in Marseille and Reims), and another one is about to open in Paris this month.
Before then, this was the only solution.

And here I stayed next to that Burger King for five nights and yet I never thought to darken its doors. ;D

No way would you persuade me through the doors of such a place, in London or in Paris. Anyone who goes to Paris to sample BK needs their head examined. ;D

I have had the 'pleasure' of eating a burger there.....at the Bird Park in Singapore. As far as I remember it was the only eatery near the entrance/exit. I cant tell the difference between BK, Mac's or Wendy's.
