Or edamame spread or dip if you prefer, since hummus is by definition made of chick peas - that is what hummus means after all; the dip is actualy called hummus bi tahini. But I'm using the name in the recipe I found, which is extremely simple: ohmyveggies.com/recipe-better-than-trader-joes-edamame-hummus/I added a bit of cardamom; haven't chopped up the flatleaf parsely yet. Nor do I know which meal I'll eat this at: probably I'll have some for supper.

Since I don't live in the kitchen, it would never cross my mind to make hummus myself since it is so easy to buy here. However, I am always interested in learning ways of improving hummus!

I only make normal hummus if I'm making it for a group. I can find it at two places just around the corner, but at least here, the packaged stuff is ridiculously overpriced.
A similar dip made from edamame is not nearly so obvious to find. Perhaps in a "bio-shop" (at a very high price)...
It is made, and is a little round glass storage dish. Pretty. Not very strongly seasoned, but I don't think it should be.
