I can't seem to find this thread, looking for it for another site. Kerouac started it, if I recall. He, I and others contributed. She was a 16-year-old Jewish girl from Poland (as I recall) who was involved in a resistance group and deported (to Auschwitz?) There has been a plaque for her for many years, now there is also a street.
