I finally made it to the Pet Cemetery in Asnières-sur-Seine, which i first read about in a Rough Guide or Lonely Planet, 7 years ago. Fast forward 116 years, and the Cimetière des Chiens et Autres Animaux Domestiques (Cemetery for Dogs and Other Domestic Animals) is still going strong, with burials still taking place on a regular basis. It's a fascinating and beautiful place to visit. Who wouldn't be touched by the tearful epitaphs and loving words carved on the many gravestones, some of them quite elaborate? The full story can be read in my report here www.minorsights.com/2015/07/france-pet-cemetery-in-paris.html but here are some of the pictures I took on this first (and probably not last) visit.

Yes. Nice pics. I also went to the pet cemetery. I wish I'd seen the tomb with the cat on top. Missed that one.
